Days 1-2: USA or Canada / Nairobi , Kenya
Depart by overnight flight to Nairobi . Norfolk Hotel

Day 3: Nairobi
Visit Daphne Sheldrick's Wildlife Orphanage, followed by the famous Kazuri Beads workshop and then on to the Giraffe Center . Proceed on to Kiambethu Tea Estate, you will be guests for lunch and afternoon tea. The Kiambethu Estate is located at an altitude of 7000 feet above sea level, and has lush acres of tea plantations that seem to vanish in the horizon. Two English families, Mitchell & McDonnell in the early 1900's, built the Estate. These families are said to be the first to have ventured into the tea business. You will also have a lecture on the area and about the production of tea. In the afternoon, a walk through the tea plantations and forests will display the conditions needed for the growth of tea. Day 4: Nairobi / Amboseli National Park
Fly to Amboseli this morning. In the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro 's snowcapped peak, this afternoon's game viewing focuses on the large population of elephant, giraffe and predators. Tortilis Camp B L D

Day 5: Amboseli National Park
With Mount Kilimanjaro providing a superb backdrop for photographs, spend the day on morning and afternoon game drives, watching for zebra and wildebeest along the salt pan trails. Tortilis Camp B L D

Day 6: Amboseli / Nairobi / Samburu Game Reserve
Fly to the semi-desert bush country of the Northern Frontier District where, on an afternoon game drive in Samburu, you look for unique northern species such as reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, beisa oryx and the graceful gerenuk. Samburu Intrepids Club B L D

Day 7: Samburu Game Reserve
During your game drives today, watch for crocodile basking on the muddy riverbanks, vervet monkeys frolicking in the sun and, perhaps, a leopard. In the afternoon, visit a local Samburu village. Samburu Intrepids Club B L D

Day 8: Samburu / Masai Mara Game Reserve
Fly to the magnificent Masai Mara Game Reserve. After a late-afternoon game drive, return to camp for dinner under the stars. Governor's Camp B L D

Days 9-10: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Embark on game drives in search of lion, elephant, giraffe, impala. Bid farewell to the Mara at a special dinner on the banks of the Mara River . Governor's Camp B L D

Day 11: Masai Mara / Nairobi / USA or Canada
Return to Nairobi in time for a special lunch, followed by an optional visit to the Karen Blixen Museum ; or explore Nairobi 's shops. This evening board an international flight. Norfolk Hotel (dayroom) B L D

Connect with homebound flight.
