ANTHONY WACHIRA

He was born and raised in African bush. He graduated with an Associate Diploma in Tour Guiding from the best tourism college in Africa, the Kenya Utalii College and he is a member of Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association (KPSGA). He is an impeccable host - experienced well-educated, intelligent professional and a charming traveling companion. He is a specialist in a variety of subjects from archaeology, flora and wildlife to politics, geography and current affairs. And while other tour companies use guides who are as foreign to the region as the tourists they lead, Anthony resides here and is passionate about East Africa where he works . His 20 years experience in guiding has taken him to Tanzania , Zanzibar , South Africa , Germany and Turkey .

Anthony is passionate about the land and the people of East Africa and is dedicated to ensuring that each and every customer gets the absolute most from their visit and is left with the desire to return . His programs are designed for the more independently-minded customer, whether a seasoned traveller or not, looking for new experiences and challenges and to explore these exciting and richly-varied destinations in a spirit of discovery and adventure. He has developed partnerships with like-minded specialists in each of the national parks, reserves, camps and lodges that Moriah African Tours features. This ensures that Anthony can offer you the expert advice, freedom of choice, flexibility, personalised service and value you expect.

CHARITY MBIYU.

Charity Mbiyu was born, bred and trained in African jungle. This is her home. She has been in tourism since 1989, having graduated from the only tour guide training institution, The Kenya Utalii College. She served as operations manager for a renown Dutch market handling groups, incentives and conferences, for two years.
She then moved on to a travel and hospitality institution as a tutor for the next eight years. As a trainer she greatly improved her skills and attitudes, enabling her to becoming a leader in organizing personalized tours within East Africa.
She has traveled extensively within Kenya as well as Tanzania and Uganda, meeting the local people and closely interacting with them, thus getting to know what makes each ethnic group unique and also having first hand knowledge of the tourism product and how best to put it together to give you a worthwhile safari experience that you will live to remember. Should you require a lady tour guide, she is ready to give you a different approach to a Kenyan safari experience.
A result of this understanding, she got the idea start a tour company. After a time of incubation and research Moriah African Tours (MAT), co-founded with Anthony Wachira, materialized. This is your choice company for reasons that I have no doubt you will affirm.
