DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1
On Arrival at the airport met by our representative and transferred to Sarova panafric hotel or The new Stanley Hotel for overnight. Booked on bed and breakfast. 


 Day 2
Drive to through the Kikuyu highlands to Shaba National Reserve in the northern frontier of Kenya, famous for the 'Born and Living Free' movies detailing the work of Joy and George Adamson and the lioness, Elsa. Overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge.


Day 3
 
Have a morning and afternoon gamedrive to explore the reserve where you  are likely to find several endemic Northern species, including Gerenuk, the Reticulated Giraffe, and Grevy’s Zebra. The forests along the river banks are home to many birds, including local species such as the Palm Nut Vulture and the Vinaceous Dove. These forests are also home to many Leopards, often seen at dusk. The sight of one of these beautiful and elusive creatures is always a rare treat.
 In between you may visit a Samburu Village to have an experience of their life style.{ at an extra cost}.
Meals and overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge.


Day 4
Early breakfast then depart for Lake Nakuru with a brief stop at Thomson Falls at Nyahururu, arrival will be in time for lunch at your lodge, located inside the Lake Nakuru National Park. In the afternoon you will embark on a game drive where you will have the opportunity to spot leopards, rhino and the famous pink flamingos as well as a variety of other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at  Sarova Lion Hill LodgeLake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the over 400 species     of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here  


Day 5
After breakfast departs for Masai Mara - the land of vast migrating animals. Arrival will be in time for lunch. After lunch embark on a game drive. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp


 Day6 /7
Full days spent exploring the park in search of the Big 5 with a possibility of seeing the spectacular annual wildebeest migration that takes place from July through to October .Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp.  


Day 8
Morning Game drive rest of morning at leisure. Take an early lunch then transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Mombasa. Transfer to Sarova White sands Beach resort for overnight. Booked on Halfboard.


Day 9/10 
Spend the days at leisure or take some excursions to explore the Kenyan coast. Accommodations at Sarova White sands Beach Resort on Halfboard.


Day 11
 
Depending on your flight back home you can take a morning, afternoon or early evening flight back to Nairobi then connect with your international flight.
Alternatively if it's a late flight arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and go for a farewell dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant
